Job Position: Administrative Manager 

Location: South West London Salary: Good Competitive Salary Job type: Permanent Full-time Contract Length: 1 Year renewable Start Date: Immediate following 1 month probation period

We are looking for a confident Admin Manager to join Madinah College.

As the Office Admin Manager reporting to the Director, this job requires an independent Administrative and Management Skill Set. You will be managing all administrative tasks related to the adult and child education of the College under the supervision of the Director. In addition you will be dealing with global clients in the Middle East so Arabic language skills would be necessary. 

Working from the heart of South West London, your duties as Admin Manager will include:

    • Student registrations
    • Customer service through face to face interaction and over the phone
    • Call logging
    • Student database management
    • Organising internal meetings
    • Managing stationery and general office supplies levels
    • Maintenance of filing systems
    • Typing of correspondence and all related matters
    • Flexible working when required with notice
    • Required to work evenings and weekends during peak season / regsitration
    • Completely all delegated tasks by senior management
    • Diary management
    • Dealing with international clientele
    • Organising internal meetings and conference room booking including catering
    • Detailed minute taking
    • Prepare meeting packs for team
    • Ad hoc personal duties

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong administrative and IT skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Arabic language skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Intelligent, articulate and hands on
  • Excellent organisation skills and an ability to work on their own initiative to complete tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise efficiently
  • Confident and responsible in meeting short deadlines
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolve

Job Position: Arabic Saturday School Teachers 

Location: South West London Salary: Good Competitive Salary Job type: Permanent Part-time Start Date: September 2016 Contract Length: 1 Year renewable

We are looking for experienced teachers to join Madinah College.

As a teacher for Madinah College you will be reporting to the Administrative Manager. All teachers will be expected to teach Arabic Language, and basic Islamic studies according to our syllabus developed specifically for Young Leaners. Ongoing support and continued professional training will be provided by Madinah College.

Duties for teaching staff includes:

  • Working with our curriculum coordinator
  • Attend teacher training sessions by Madinah College
  • Delivering all classes assigned as per the schedule
  • Deliver all subjects to young learners in fun and interesting methods
  • Conducting exams
  • Marking coursework and exam papers
  • Regular meetings with parents
  • Develop lesson plans and materials for teaching
  • Support administrative staff and supervisors

The successful candidates will have:

  • High level of fluency in Arabic Language
  • Fluency in Arabic language and Hifdh is preferable
  • Extensive teaching experience is desirable
  • Strong administrative and IT skills with Microsoft Office Suite
